The present times, the end of an era and the awakening of a new civilization

An Unificationist and Ambassador of Peace from Spain, Emilio Asti, gave a lecture on December 20, 2012: It was prophesied that tomorrow will be the end of the world, but we have to consider the prophecies not literally but as warnings to change the course of our lives. We have to distinguish between what is commercial and what is authentic.

The Christmas season coincides with the rebirth of the Sun. It is the end of darkness and the beginning of an era of light. Spiritually we can begin a new process and we can understand it. Now, the human history is reaching an end. Until now there has been a slow and steady progress. But lately, amazing technological advances are happening. We have institutions like the UN, the European Community, which two centuries ago were unimaginable. 50 years ago we could not envision the progress of internet we have now.

We have to understand the divine within us, and start an inward journey.
It is a mistake to put dates to prophecies. They are events that are maturing slowly.

Now we live an undercurrent of spirituality. The Virgin Mary appears in different places, there are paranormal phenomena. Communication between the two dimensions is happening. There is also people who have near-death experiences and can perceive the spiritual dimension. There is also more closeness between religion and science. Now we understand that the difference between spirit and matter is due to a different type of vibration of energy.

Today, eastern countries are developing technology very fast, while in western countries there is much interest in meditation and spirituality. We could say that “the West is in the East and the East is the West”. There is no more separation between nations and cultures. There is a planetary consciousness. Mankind is taking care of the rights of children and animals. We start taking care about our environment and our world.
